Contributor privacy.

This notice describes the contributor proposal form for The Global Tactician. It is separate from the Forum membership system.

What we collect

When you submit a proposal, we collect your name, email, working title, proposed subject and format, pitch, and any optional region, preferred byline, contributor background, or sample link you choose to include.

How we use it

These details are used for editorial assessment and potential correspondence about your contribution. Proposals are not automatically published, and submitting one does not create Forum membership.

Who can access it

Submitted proposals are stored in the publication's Supabase database. The proposal table is not publicly readable. Access is restricted to authorized editorial staff. Published author names and approved finished work are managed separately through the Journal.

Retention and corrections

Submissions may be retained for editorial consideration and recordkeeping. A fixed deletion schedule has not yet been established. If an editor contacts you, you can reply to request corrections or withdrawal. Before opening the portal widely, the publication should publish a direct editorial contact address and a defined retention policy.

Submission security

We use Cloudflare Turnstile and a protected submission server to screen automated submissions. Cloudflare may process technical signals, such as IP address and browser characteristics, under its privacy policies. Your proposal is sent to our private Supabase editorial inbox only after server-side verification succeeds.

Links and third parties

If you include a portfolio or writing-sample link, editors may visit that external website. Do not submit confidential materials or third-party personal information without permission.

Your choice

Submission is voluntary. We do not sell contributor details. Sending a proposal does not grant an automatic license for public publication; any further rights or publication arrangements should be discussed before work is published.
