Privacy Notice

What information we collect

Registration requires an email address, password, and display name. The authentication provider handles passwords; The Global Tactician does not store passwords in its forum tables. The community also stores application statements, member-supplied profile details, posts, replies, reports, and moderation decisions.

How information is used

We use account details for authentication, applications for membership review, and posts and reports for community operations, safety, and moderation. Published member posts and approved profiles are visible to other approved members, not general website visitors.

Access and storage

Authentication and forum data are processed through Supabase. The public magazine and Forum frontend are hosted with Cloudflare. Admins and moderators can review content necessary to operate the community. The Google Sheets magazine publishing system remains separate from member accounts.

Your choices

Members can update their display name, bio, and interests, and remove their own Forum discussions or replies from members’ view. Removed content and moderation records may remain privately retained for accountability. A separate process for account deletion, data access requests, retention periods, and permanent erasure must be established before launch.

Important limits

We use technical restrictions to limit community access, but no online system offers absolute privacy. Other approved members may capture or share content without authorization.
